I am a Research Fellow at Mila and an Adjunct Professor at the Université de Montréal (DIRO) since 2025. I work on bringing the language modeling pipeline to biological sequences, from data curation to pre-training, fine-tuning, and evaluation to proteins, genomes, and transcriptomes.
